Visiting Information

What to Bring

Sundance facilities are a safe environment for patients. Recommended items to bring for inpatients stays are as follows:


  • 2 sets of clothes – NOTHING BLACK
  • 3 pairs of undergarments
  • 1 set of sleeping clothes
  • Sports bras ONLY, No padding or metal
  • Written letters will be accepted in plain white envelopes only. (Please do not send money.)

All hygiene items are supplied by Sundance.

What Not to Bring

For the safety of our patients, many items are prohibited from being brought into the facility. Please utilize the document below to familiarize yourself with items not allowed throughout inpatient treatment.


All contraband items will be sent home with patient family during admission or locked in storage until the patient is discharged.

Visitation

It is difficult being away from a loved one throughout treatment, so we make visitation accessible throughout the week.


  • Visitors must have the Patient ID # (for child/adolescent patients visitors must be listed as an approved visitor)
  • Cell phones, purses, food and drinks are NOT permitted
  • Patients may have up to 3 approved visitors at a time
  • Visitors must be 12 years old or older
  • All visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 

Insurance and Payment Options

We are in-network with most major insurances. Please see the list available below. Insurances are subject to available mental health benefits. Traditional Medicaid and CHIP accepted for patients under 21 years of age. Many Marketplace, Managed Medicaid and Managed Medicare Plans covered. 


Our Business Office will work with out-of-network plans to attempt single case agreements. Payment plan options are available.
